WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Asthma Applied Research Stirling (SMART).
We seek to understand how and why people with asthma do or do not take their asthma medication as suggested by their healthcare professionals. We use different methods to research the individual, social and contextual components of medication adherence and self-management behaviour.
Our research has been funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC), and the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS).
If you are interested in taking part in our research or in case you have other questions, please email Pamela Rackow (pamela.rackow@stir.ac.uk).
